Exposure to
excessive moisture can damage gas sensors:

combine with ambient dust to plug up flame arrestors and render sensors

MINIMAL
DIFFUSION
Conventional baffle type splash guards can make sensor response very
slow.
This reticulated foam splash guard has thousands of diffusion paths to
allow quick sensing of the gas while eliminating water penetration.
REUSABLE
Although economical to replace, the foam type splash guard can be washed
and rinsed in water.
NOTE: The foam can be dissolved by prolonged exposure to: acetone,
toluene, butyl alcohol, 1,2-dichloroethane.
